The Bret design has an early day workshop aura presented by the illusion that the table lamp is constructed from left over basic materials. The angled wooden cylindrical base which holds the E27 lampholder is sliced by a black metal panel which follows the angle and ends parallel to the base to support its balance in a creatively stylish manner. The use of a decorative lamp would further accentuate the fittings ambience.
